Oh, The Humanity!

Ok, this thing just happened to me and I'm still
reeling from shock.

I'll try to share it, but it's really hard.....here
goes:

I was just downstairs in the restaurant getting a
breakfast sandwich and coffee for breakfast. I
ordered it, paid for it, and waited for it to be done.
I glanced over at the table next to me and to MY
SHOCK AND HORROR someone had a left a
beautiful piece of B A C O N on a plate on the table
to be THROWN OUT!!!!!!!!! INTO THE TRASH!!!!!! My
first instinct was to grab it and eat it. It was
sitting on a clean plate beside the obvious breakfast
plate (remnants of hashbrowns and omelette) so my
guess is that it was ordered on the side and it hadn't
been touched by food or man and it was just sitting
there, clean and beautiful and almost irresistable.
It was nigh onto impossible to restrain myself from
grabbing it - if I had been alone in the restaurant
and no one could have see me I would have eaten it.
Leaving your bacon on a plate is like leaving your
baby in the car - it just SHOULDN'T BE DONE.

OK, here's how sick I am: If I had my phone with me when

I saw this tragedy I would have taken a picture of the

doomed slice of bacon and posted it here to remind us of

a wasted slice-of-heaven.
