My Cruising Theory

I think I should explain what happened to my thinking
about cruises.

I used to think cruising was sort of for losers.
People would get on and off at different ports for
just a few hours at a time, instead of immersing
themselves for a week or so in a new place.

But, then, I realized how smart it was to do it that
way.

1. You get to see a variety of cities, ports,
countries without having to pay for several
transportation legs.

2. You only have to unpack and pack once.

3. Your food and hotel costs are already taken care
of when you book your cruise.

4. You have the advantage of seeing numerous cities
and countries and THEN deciding if there's one you
want to go back to at a later time.

So, one price covers transportation, food, and your
room (and shipboard entertainment), which is 90% of
your vacation costs. Then you just need enough $$ for
some excursions and presents.

How can you lose?

I haven't actually tried it yet, but I'm looking
forward to seeing if my theory holds up.
